Founded in November 2019 with nothing more than a dream and a group of close friends, American Shield Roofing and Construction , LLC began as a humble venture built on friendship and big ambitions. Among that founding circle was Jon Lamson—now sole owner—who brought not only vision, but leadership, discipline, and dedication to the brand. 

Before launching into roofing, Jon spent 18 impactful years as a high school football, powerlifting, and track coach. Through guiding young athletes, crafting game plans, and building resilient teams, he developed a fierce commitment to excellence, hard work, and community—values that now stand at the core of American Shield Roofing and Construction, LLC. 

In 2019, Jon decided to pivot. Channeling his coaching roots into construction, he officially established American Shield Roofing and Construction, LLC. Today, the company is deeply rooted in the communities it serves. 

Under Jon’s guidance, American Shield has grown into a trusted, dependable, and insured local business. We believe in transparency—offering honest estimates, top-tier materials, workmanship guarantees—and we stand by every roof we install.
